Connecting socketio endpoint

Prerequisites#

Open the SocketIO request from the home

Directions#

  1. Enter the server endpoint in the URL bar, for example, we're taking the chat example from the (SocketIO official)[https://socket.io/] library. The endpoint is https://socketio-chat-h9jt.herokuapp.com/. Select your SocketIO server version. Firecamp currently support v2/v3 and hit the enter or click connect

SocketIO server URL start with http:// or https://

  1. Firecamp client will connect to your server.
  2. While connecting to the server, you'll receive the connecting event and message on the response tab Socket has been created. The connection is not yet open.
  3. After successful connection, you'll receive the connect event and Socketio connected successfully message.
  4. The connect button will show the status of connected
  5. To disconnect the connection, click Connected it will disconnect the server.
