Creating Workspace

Personal workspace#

Follow the below steps to learn how to create perosnal workspace.

  1. Navigate to the workspace menu. Select the Create Personal Workspace.

  2. Enter the workspace Name and Description.
  3. Clik the Create.

The workspace menu shows the current workspace. For example, yourname@workspace-name

Organization workspace#

Orgaization workspace is the space where you can collaborate with others on API projects. The latest copy of API projects will automatically sync in every team member's account. You can learn more on Organization workspace from here(workspace and org page link).

To create organization workspace follow below steps.

If you're creating first workspace in organization,

  1. Navigate to workspace menu. Select Create new organization. The popup will open.
  2. Enter the Organization name, Workspace name,Description. This will create the new organization and workspace.

If you're creating another workspace in the same organization,

  1. Navigate to workspace menu. Select Create org workspace. The popup will open.
  2. Enter Workspace name and Description. This will create new workspace inside current Organization.

After following any of above steps, 3. Click Next. 4. From here you can invite your team to join the workspace, just enter their details, Name and Email. To onboard more team member you can do through, Add in bulk. Click the Create & Invite

  1. Firecamp will send invitation through via Email to join the workspace. Please ask your team member to review their inbox and share resource on how to join workspace. (link to join workspace)

If they're joining workspace for the first time then they'll required to join via email. If they're already part of another workspace in the same organization then join workspace automatically.
